Miles of blooming azaleas, dogwoods and spring flowers highlight this annual event marketing the arrival of spring. The Jessie Allen Wise Garden Club offers a tour of four gracious, historic homes, and wonderful shopping and cultural attractions in its 63rd Annual Pilgrimage and Spring Festival, entitled “Yesteryear Remembered,” April 30 – May 2. Members of the Tall Pines Quilt Guild in Huntsville are offering another fun-filled day of quilts, games, great food and music on Saturday, May 1 in downtown Huntsville in the 9th Annual Airing of the Quilts, where more than 300 quilts will be on display.
